1. Tour Quotations & Booking Confirmation

All tour quotes issued by Madurai Tour (operated by KV Tours Private Limited) are valid for 7 days from dispatch, unless specified otherwise. Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the agreed booking advance, which secures vehicle allocation and hotel reservations.

2. Payment Schedule

• Booking Advance: 30% of package cost to confirm vehicle and hotel reservations.
• Balance Payment: Remaining 70% payable upon check-in/arrival in Madurai.
• Payment methods include UPI, IMPS/NEFT bank transfer, and major credit/debit cards.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

In the event of unforeseen cancellation by the client, the following standard deductions apply:

• 15+ days prior to travel date: 90% refund of advance (10% processing fee retained).
• 7 to 14 days prior to travel date: 50% refund of advance.
• Less than 7 days or No-Show: Advance non-refundable due to pre-contracted vehicle holding and hotel cancellation charges.

4. Vehicle Usage & Chauffeur Guidelines

• Private vehicles are dedicated exclusively to your booked itinerary. Unscheduled detours or out-of-route city driving may incur additional per-kilometer or driver overtime charges.
• Hill Driving Policy (Kodaikanal): In compliance with hill road transport safety standards and engine load efficiency, air conditioning is switched off during steep uphill ghat climbs.
• Night driving on mountain ghat sections between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM is restricted for traveller safety.

5. Temple Darshan & Government Regulations Disclaimer

Sri Meenakshi Amman Temple, Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, and other sacred shrines are administered independently by the Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Department of Tamil Nadu. Madurai Tour assists with timing coordination and gate orientation, but has no authority over official ticket issuing, queue durations, ritual timings, or security gate closures. All visitors must abide by traditional dress codes and mobile phone prohibitions.

6. Weather & Natural Contingencies

Certain sightseeing attractions—such as the Poompuhar ferry to Vivekananda Rock in Kanyakumari or road access to Dhanushkodi Arichal Munai—are weather-dependent and subject to coast guard or district police advisories. In case of rough seas or storm warnings, our chauffeurs will suggest safe local alternatives.
